Branding | UX/UI

Details
Aliro Immigration is the Turbo Tax of documentation; it simplifies overly-confusing government immigration forms.
-
Challenge
Create a digital platform to simplify a robust and complicated forms process, primarily for those that speak limited English.
-
Solution
I created a tab-based system that functions as navigation, while also effectively doubling as a progress bar.
Tab-Based Navigational System
One of the main challenges of Aliro was condensing pages of confusing jargon into something easily digestible. I created a tab-based system that doubles as easy navigation in addition to a visual progress bar to let users know how much they had completed.
Automatic Entry
Because government forms ask the same question multiple times on various pages, an overarching Account page was created. This would allow the back-end development to pull necessary information such as legal name, address, and other info into the detected form field automatically with no repeated steps for the customer. The account page also features the progress bar, where users can easily jump to the last section they were working on.
Branding
I created the styleguide for Aliro, including font & color selection, UI elements, logo variations, and overall tone and look & feel.
Preliminary Designs
Multiple logo and font iterations were created before the final set. You can see a few examples of those studies here.
