A Short Bio
My name is Ashley Smith. I graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Graphic Design, and dual minors in Advertising and Fine Art. I love dogs, riding my bike, rugby, and all things video game related. I read a lot of books, enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons, and think bananas taste gross.
Why Run Home Jack?
Since my name is pretty much as generic as they come, I decided to brand my portfolio in a more exciting way. Run Home Jack is a line from my favorite childhood movie, Hook. The phrase was a mistake made by characters in the movie. What should have been Home Run actually inspired Jack to remember his home, come to terms with his captivity and break out of the monotonous cycle he was in. I find design and art to be similar.
Run Home to your style, Run Home to your sense of creativity; stop and remember what your purpose is, and make it a Home Run.
